Processing Difficult Emotions

This is one of two of the most valuable skills I learned when it came to improving my mental wellness. Once I learned to properly process an emotion, I knew I could handle any feeling. Once I wasn't afraid to feel anything, I could do anything I set my mind to. This is the skill that helped me stop overdrinking, overcome struggles with anxiety, and grow a successful business even when it was uncomfortable.

During this episode, I walk through exactly how to process an uncomfortable emotion by processing my own emotion I experienced after a difficult situation with my daughter. I share the acronym of the method I use (S.T.O.P.) to remember the steps when emotions are intense.
